Send Invoice

Shopify payouts, matched to your orders

Send Invoice imports your Shopify Payments payouts and shows exactly which orders, refunds, and fees make up each deposit.

Shopify pays your sales into your bank in batches, and one deposit can cover dozens of orders after fees, refunds, and chargebacks are taken off. That makes a bank statement hard to reconcile. In Send Invoice’s Payouts view every deposit is listed with its date, amount, and status, and one click opens the transactions behind it, so you can trace any line on your bank statement back to the orders it came from.

Key takeaways

  • Every Shopify Payments deposit and withdrawal in one filterable, sortable list.
  • Open any payout to see the orders, refunds, adjustments, and fees behind it.
  • Imports itself. The first visit starts a background sync, and Sync payouts pulls in new ones.
  • Read-only. Send Invoice can see payouts but can never change them or move money.

What the Payouts view shows

Each row is one payout that Shopify Payments issued to your bank, or withdrew from it. You can filter the list by:

  • Issued date (from and to)
  • Status, for example scheduled, in transit, paid, or failed
  • Transaction type

Every column can be sorted, and the list pages through your full payout history, 25 payouts at a time by default.

How to find which orders are in a Shopify payout

Click a payout. Send Invoice shows every transaction that made it up: the orders it paid out for, plus any refunds, adjustments, and fees. When your accountant points at a deposit and asks what it’s for, you can answer in one click instead of cross-referencing Shopify’s payout reports by hand.

How payout syncing works

The first time you open Payouts, Send Invoice imports your payout history in the background, including the transactions behind each payout. On a busy store the first sync can take a few minutes, and the page shows Syncing payouts… while it runs. After that, press Sync payouts whenever you want the latest deposits.

If Shopify Payments isn’t enabled for your store, the page tells you so rather than showing an empty table. Once Shopify issues your first payout, sync again and it will appear.

Why payout reconciliation matters

  • Close the books faster. Match each bank deposit to its orders without exporting and merging spreadsheets.
  • Explain the gap. See which fees, refunds, and chargebacks made a deposit smaller than that day’s sales.
  • One place for the money side. Customer invoices, vendor payouts, and Shopify deposits all live in the same app.
